“Swayamshakti – Technical & Intensive Leadership” was a training program by FCTD held at Gandhisagar from 4-5 March 2023 for senior officials of MPPKVVCL, Indore. Its aim was to equip these officials with skills and knowledge for effective leadership.

On the day-1, we conducted four sessions: “Micro lab” focused on self-awareness, “Development of emotional intelligence for effective leadership” provided tools to enhance emotional intelligence, “Learn by fun: Where is my happiness” helped identify personal sources of motivation and happiness, and “Management game: lead from the front” was a simulation game.

On day-2, there were a few sessions around corporate development, namely “Dynamics of conflicts and conflict resolution styles” which taught conflict resolution skills, and “Leading high-performance teams” which emphasized the importance of clear expectations, building trust, and developing situational and transformational leadership models. The training provided practical knowledge and tools to handle conflicts and lead high-performance teams.
